Bradd has brought to the Carrick Group twenty years of experience that underpins his mandate of significantly growing the company’s sales team and top line revenue. The fact that Bradd joined Carrick at the height of the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic in July 2020 with this specific task, is a tribute to the determination of both Bradd and Carrick not to be distracted even by the worst of obstacles. These are mutual qualities that have served both well.
Coming from a diverse background in business, Bradd’s last position prior to joining Carrick was as General Manager: Operations at Pam Golding Properties. After completing school at Glenwood High School in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, he studied civil engineering before the lure of a business career saw him successfully building his own business in logistics. Then followed almost two years at African Life Assurance where he helped grow a successful sales team in the Western Cape. He spent the next 14 years at Ooba Group as National Sales Manager, Head of Franchising and Acquisitions and the last four years as Group Head of Sales.
With a people-focused servant leadership style he puts the needs of his team ahead of his own. Bradd’s strategy for building exceptional, high-performance sales teams is based on recruiting the right people and ensuring they stay the course; having the best and relevant product range coupled with outstanding client-centric service; and remaining sufficiently agile to capitalise on opportunities that may arise.
