As I have a passion for people, assisting them to reach their financial goals or to have peace of mind, gives me a great sense of fulfilment. That’s why my role in servicing gives me a strong sense of purpose within the organisation.
What is the best part about your job?
One of the best parts of my job is getting positive feedback from clients who feel that in the past they never received the amount of service and guidance they would have liked to and which they were now getting. Also, just in general the people at Carrick and the atmosphere in the company enables us as Wealth Specialists to be our best in serving our clients.
Tell us about your personal and professional growth while working at Carrick.
I started at Carrick as a Paraplanner, but my love of interacting with clients along with the knowledge that I built up working strictly under compliance, has since shaped my role as a Wealth Specialist in Client Servicing.
What is a typical day at work like for you?
Planning and time management is key. In an industry that is always changing and evolving, I also set aside adequate time for learning about new products or to review older products, so I can keep up my continuous learning curve.
